SLIAC Announces Day Off to Encourage Voting

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has designated November 3rd as a day off from any athletic-related activity for its member schools to encourage student-athletes to vote. The decision was unanimously supported by the SLIAC Presidents and Athletic Directors.

The SLIAC is encouraging everyone to register to vote and then exercise that right on November 3rd. Be sure to check information on your local polling locations and its hours, and make sure you are aware of any important deadlines for mail-in or absentee ballots.  

Below are state deadlines for residents to register to vote:
Kentucky - October 5th
Missouri - October 7th
Iowa - October 24th
Illinois - October 18th (online) or you can register in person up to and including election day.
