EUREKA — For the third time in the past two years, the Eureka men’s basketball team beat The System.
The Red Devils pushed through, outgunned and outlasted Grinnell 122-115 on a rowdy Wednesday evening at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena.
ROCKFORD – The Eureka football team ended the 2019 campaign on a winning note Saturday. The Red Devils held off the Regents 38-28 in a back-and-forth North Athletics Collegiate Conference season finale at Rockford.

GALESBURG, Ill. –The Eureka women’s basketball team pulled off a comeback for the ages at Knox on Wednesday night. After trailing by 18 points early in the second half, the Red Devils chipped away until they were on top, triumphing over the Prairie Fire in overtime, 83-76.

ROCKFORD, Ill. – Eureka College senior guard Ashley Harfst (Saunemin, Ill/Pontiac H.S) earned the women's basketball team's first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman guard Whitney Bozarth (Normal, I’ll/Normal West) dropped a game-high 23 points en route to a 78-43 non-conference win at Rockford on Friday.

It was an emotional Saturday afternoon for the Eureka men’s soccer team as six seniors took the pitch for the final time as Red Devils.The Red Devils held their own at Fontbonne on Saturday, but the Griffins came away with a 3-0 victory to end EC’s season.

Eureka senior Ariel Campbell (Decatur, Ill./Cerro Gordo) posted a double-double and fellow senior McKenzie Reiners (Milford, Ill./Milford) hit a team-best .263, but the Red Devils couldn’t get past Iowa Wesleyan on senior night.
