    EUREKA, Ill. – The sixth annual Abraham Lincoln Bowl and a full nine-game Upper Midwest Athletic Conference slate make up the 2017 Eureka College football schedule, released by ninth-year head coach Kurt Barth on Monday morning. The 2017 campaign will be Eureka’s 114th season of intercollegiate football.

    MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Eureka College junior defensive end Trever Zeibert (Monee, Ill./Peotone H.S.) has been chosen for the D3football.com All-West Region Third Team, according to an announcement from the organization Monday night. Zeibert is the first Red Devil to receive All-Region honors since 2011.
  • Eureka College to Install Artificial Surface at McKinzie Field

    EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College will install an artificial turf surface at Pete FioRito Stadium at McKinzie Field, according to an announcement from EC Director of Athletics Steve Thompson. The renovation will be complete in time for the sixth annual Lincoln Bowl versus Knox on Sept. 2, 2017.

    EUREKA, Ill. -- Northwestern (Minn.) scored 20 points in the final 8:21 of Saturday’s Upper Midwest Athletic Conference contest against Eureka to earn a 37-15 victory over the Red Devils at McKinzie Field. The decision secured the regular-season UMAC title and an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III playoffs for the Eagles.

    EUREKA, Ill. -- The Eureka College football team continued its march to an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference title on Saturday, rallying from a 5-point halftime deficit to overcome Minnesota Morris for a 14-7 league win at McKinzie Field. The victory was the 37th of Kurt Barth’s career, making the eighth-year head coach the winningest coach in program history.

    EUREKA, ILL – Senior Tyler Winders tied the game late in the second quarter 3-3 on a 33 yard field goal breaking the school’s all-time Field Goal record but a strong second half led the Red Devils to their fifth straight victory 17-3 over Crown College

    EUREKA, Ill. -- Eureka College sophomore running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) became the fifth player in program history to rush for four touchdowns in a single game, racking up 140 yards for his ninth career 100-yard game and lifting the Red Devils to a 29-15 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference win over Iowa Wesleyan at McKinzie Field.

    EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College sophomore running back LeAnthony Reasnover ran for 130 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown on the day’s first play from scrimmage, setting the tone for the Red Devils’ 38-7 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference romp over Martin Luther, Saturday afternoon at McKinzie Field.
