GU eventually snagged the lead, 73-72, on Johari Dix's basket with 11:26 remaining. Two two teams traded the lead two mores times, as another field goal from Dix just 29 seconds later gave the hosts the lead for the remainder of the afternoon.

Eureka will return home Wednesday for an 8 p.m. SLIAC matchup with MacMurray at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena.
