EC Men's Basketball Releases 2020-21 Recruiting Class

EUREKA – Eureka College men's basketball coach Chip Wilde announced the addition of 12 new players to the program on Friday.

The Class of 2020 features seven freshmen and five transfers, including juniors Jordan Brooks (10.5 points per game at Lincoln Land Community College) and Noah Young (7 points per game at Carl Sandburg Community College and sophomore Charlie McKinty (former Journal Star Small-School Player of the Year at Elmwood).

The class features 11 in-state players and one international student athlete. Three of the transfers are juniors and two are sophomores. Two are from former St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival MacMurray.

Wilde said that the team will likely have another announcement regarding deposited recruits to make in the near future.

"We are very excited about this year's recruiting class," Wilde said. "We think we have a great balance of size, athleticism, talent and depth with both incoming freshmen and experienced transfers. We are looking forward to putting this group together with our returners and getting to work."
