EUREKA — The Eureka women's soccer team battled Blackburn in pouring rain and dropping temperatures at McKinzie Field on Saturday.
The Red Devils held the Beavers to one goal in the first half, but the visitors tallied three more in the second en route to a 4-0 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory.
Blackburn's Lexi Lusk put the black jerseys on the board in the 14th minute. Libby Adams scored twice in the second half, and Lusk found the back of the net again in the 73rd minute.
Eureka (1-14-0, 0-7-0) will play its final home match on Thursday at 5 p.m. when the Red Devils host Spalding.
