ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka senior outside hitter Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw H.S.) has been named to the All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Third Team, according to an announcement from Commissioner Dr. Dick Kaiser at Saturday's SLIAC Tournament in St. Louis, Mo.

Dooley was the Red Devils' most efficient offensive weapon in 2018, leading the team with 280 kills. She also produced 18 service aces and 31 total blocks to average a team-best 3.2 points scored per set. In 18 SLIAC matches, she ranked second in the league with 3.00 kills per set and third with 207 total kills. She was also a factor on the defensive end, ranking eighth in the league in 18 SLIAC appearances with 265 digs.

Over the full 28-match campaign, Dooley's 2.86 kills per set ranked third in the SLIAC and her 280 total kills were sixth. The four-year hitter finished her 103-match collegiate career last month with 801 kills, becoming just the fifth player in program history to reach the 800-kill plateau.

Katlyn Arrenholz (Delavan, Ill./Delavan H.S.) was Eureka's representative on the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team. One player from each league school is nominated to the team.

Kirsten Farrah of regular-season co-champion Webster was named SLIAC Player of the Year and SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year. MacMurray's Kamryn Flesner was picked SLIAC Newcomer of the Year and longtime Principia head coach Mary Ann Sprague collected her fourth SLIAC Coach of the Year honor. Regular-season co-champion Greenville ousted Webster in four games for the tournament championship on Saturday.
