MacMurray Gets Best of EC Volleyball, 3-0

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — The Eureka volleyball team fell in three straight sets at MacMurray in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday.

The final scores were 25-15, 25-15, 25-14. 

Stepping into the setter role, junior Katlyn Arrenholz (Delavin, Ill/Delvan) led the team with 11 assists and eight digs.  

Megan Masching (Pontiac, Ill./Pontiac Township) tallied a team-high 11 digs, and senior Ariel Campbell (Decatur, Ill./Cerro Gordo) chipped in with a team-high five kills.

MacMurray took control of the match from the first set and never let the Red Devils back in, limiting the Red Devils to 44 points in three sets. 

Eureka (5-21,2-13 SLIAC) will return home to Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center on Wednesday for a senior night match against Iowa Wesleyan at 7 p.m.
