Eureka Places 11 Student-Athletes on SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka College placed 11 student-athletes on the SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team, with the women's track team leading the way with four honorees.

The women's track team was represented by Isabella Carbajal (Chicago, Ill./Shepard), Odessa Grove (Lewistown, Ill./Lewistown), Rachel Fisher (Metamora, Ill./Metamora), and Emily Baker (Washington, Ill./Washington). Softball followed with three selections: Callie Warlow (Le Roy, Ill./Le Roy), Claire Schaffner (Delavan, Ill./Delavan), and Bre Dixon (Newark, Ill./Newark Community).

Baseball earned two spots on the list with Joshua Frenden (New Port Richey, Fla./River Ridge) and Gabe Peters (Washington, Ill./Washington), while men's track was represented by Hayden Skaggs (Mansfield, Texas/Mansfield). Rounding out the group was Jalen Johnson (Rock Falls, Ill./Rock Falls) from the men's golf team.

To qualify for the SLIAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, be at least a sophomore in academic standing, and have completed at least one full academic year at their current institution.
