Thirteen Red Devils Receive Fall SLIAC All-Academic Honors
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Thirteen Eureka College student-athletes were recognized for their excellence in the classroom, earning spots on the SLIAC All-Academic Team.
Volleyball led the way with six honorees: Alyssa Company (Lincoln, Ill./Lincoln Community), Bre Dixon (Newark, Ill./Newark Community), Frannie Heckman (Benson, Ill./Roanoke-Benson), Lexi Liaromatis (Wilmington, Ill./Wilmington), Cloee O'Donoghue (Emden, Ill./Hartsburg-Emden), and Claire Schaffner (Delavan, Ill./Delavan).
Men's soccer followed with four selections: Michael DeCarlo (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais), Collin Gravitt (Morton, Ill./Homeschooled), and Andrew Monroy (Los Angeles, Calif./Cathedral). They were joined by dual-sport athlete Michael Beaumont (Greenup, Ill./Cumberland), who represented both men's soccer and cross country.
The women's soccer program placed three on the list: Addison Byers (Flushing, Mich./Flushing), Daphne Collette (Murray, Utah/Murray), and Kateland Williams (Queen Creek, Ariz./American Leadership Academy).
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically, and have completed at least one full year at their current institution.
