Eureka Wraps Season at SLIAC Championship

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – The Eureka men's golf team wrapped up its season this week, competing at the SLIAC Championship held at Far Oaks Golf Club.

Connor Scott led the way for Eureka, finishing 54th overall at 53 over par. After opening with a 23-over 95 on Sunday, Scott rebounded with back-to-back rounds of 87 on Monday and Tuesday.

Scott's 54th-place finish marks Eureka's best individual performance at the conference championship since Tyler Platz placed 51st in 2024.

Owen Peich finished second on the team and 59th overall at 90 over par. His best round came Tuesday with a 25-over 97, following rounds of 103 on Sunday and 106 on Monday.

Colin DeLaere placed 61st overall at 94 over par. He closed the tournament with a 24-over 96 on Tuesday after rounds of 102 on Sunday and 112 on Monday.

Xavier Brisbon rounded out Eureka's lineup, finishing 64th at 106 over par. His top round came Tuesday with a 31-over 103, after shooting 115 on Sunday and 104 on Monday.

The Red Devils finished 13th overall at 343 over par.
