Joyce Kabesa Named SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka's Joyce Kabesa (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a standout performance in the Red Devils' season opener.

Kabesa made an immediate impact to start the 2025 campaign, recording a hat trick in just 27 minutes during Eureka's dominant 14-0 win over Kuyper on Friday. The forward found the back of the net in the 6th, 26th, and 27th minutes, showcasing his scoring ability early and often.

The Red Devils controlled the match from start to finish, and Kabesa led the team with five shots on goal in the victory.

Eureka will be back in action tomorrow night when they head to Bloomington to take on Illinois Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m.
