Kaitlyn Robinson Named SLIAC Pitcher of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka softball's Kaitlyn Robinson (Macomb, Ill./Macomb) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week following a dominant stretch in the circle and at the plate.

Robinson made three starts on the week, tossing complete games in each outing while earning a 3-0 record. At Knox on Wednesday, she worked all six innings and allowed just two runs, only one earned, while tying her career high with nine strikeouts against the Prairie Fire.

She followed that performance with another complete game at Spalding on Friday, holding the Golden Eagles to just one run over seven innings to help Eureka secure its first win over Spalding since 2021.

Robinson closed out the week on Sunday at Franklin, throwing all seven innings and allowing four runs in a 5-4 victory, marking the program's first-ever win over Franklin. She struck out six batters in the outing.

For the week, Robinson allowed just six earned runs across 20.0 innings for a 2.10 ERA while recording 16 strikeouts.

She also contributed offensively for the Red Devils, tallying nine hits in 17 at-bats for a .529 batting average and an .824 slugging percentage. Her week at the plate included a double and the first home run of her Eureka career, an inside-the-park shot.

Robinson and the Red Devils return to action Wednesday as they travel to Illinois College for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
