Thomas Culp Named SLIAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka's Thomas Culp (Quincy, Ill./Quincy) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week.

Culp had a standout performance this week, earning two dominant victories in Eureka's duals against Fontbonne and Joliet on Thursday. He began with a win by fall in just 4:00 against Fontbonne. He followed that up, wrestling up a weight class at 197 pounds, with a 16-7 victory by major decision against Joliet.

Culp and the Red Devils will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 16, when they compete at the SLIAC Wrestling Championships in Clarksville, Arkansa.
