Women’s Cross Country Selected Ninth in SLIAC Coaches Poll
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference unveiled its 2025 preseason poll for women's cross country on Tuesday. The Red Devils were picked to finish ninth with 14 points, according to votes cast by the league's cross country coaches.
Greenville topped the poll with 63 points and seven first-place votes. Spalding followed in second with 57 points and two first-place votes. Principia came in third with 42 points, just ahead of Webster (39) and Lyon (36). MUW (27), Westminster (24), and Blackburn (22) rounded out the middle of the poll ahead of Eureka.
Head coach Chris Robinson will begin a new chapter for the program in 2025 as he works to rebuild a squad that graduated a full roster of seniors in 2024. Newcomer Zoe Stoecker is expected to make an immediate impact in her first season with the Red Devils and will be a key figure in the team's development moving forward.
Eureka's 2025 campaign will begin on Friday, August 29, at Maxwell Park in Normal, Ill., with the Titan Opener hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University.
