Men’s Volleyball Preview: Red Devils Set for NCVF Division II Championships
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Eureka men's volleyball is set to compete in the 2026 NCVF Division II Championship, held April 2-4 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
The Red Devils enter the tournament as the top seed in Pool G and the No. 7 overall seed in the field after finishing ninth in the latest NCVF Division II Top 25 poll. In their first season as a program, Eureka claimed the MWPVC Division II Conference Championship and now looks to carry that momentum onto the national stage.
Eureka opens play Thursday with three pool matches, beginning against Saint Mary's (Calif.) at 3 p.m. The Red Devils will then face South Dakota State at 5 p.m. before closing group play at 7 p.m. against Sacred Heart, which was receiving votes in the latest national poll.
Following pool play, Eureka will advance to Friday's power pool round, where teams will compete for placement into Saturday's championship brackets. The top 16 teams will advance to the Gold Bracket to compete for the national title.
"I'm feeling really confident going into this weekend," head coach Noah Ray said. "The guys have had a great week of practice and have been in a really good head space. I'm excited to watch us compete at a high level to finish out what has been an amazing season."
